AllSportsMarket is an innovative way to look at sports through the lens of a stock market investment, instead of gambling, which launched last week.

With baseball season preparing to go full swing in less than a month, this season will have opportunities never before provided to the public.

AllSportsMarket is a project aimed to take away from the interest in illegal, unhealthy, and unnecessary gambling habits and instead turning sports back to what they’re supposed to be — fun.

It was created by Ace Underhill and Chris Rabalais and was first conceived 13 years ago. Since then, it has also gotten the attention and support of former Los Angeles Kings player Bernie Nicholls as well as Zack Ward, who played “Scut Farkus” from A Christmas Story.

By using this new market, particularly during this coming baseball season, fans everywhere will get a chance to experience a market unlike any other.

Another big reason that a launch like this is one-of-a-kind lies directly in the connection the fans. With fantasy sports or gambling, sometimes fans are left to try and root for their team as a whole, while still having to awkwardly cheer some players on the opposing team.

Not anymore.

By investing in shares of your team, you are in total control of who you want to invest in — literally.

Not only does this give you the chance to take charge when it comes to getting behind your local or favorite teams, but All Sports Market is looking to also create a full financial curriculum tailored to the sports stock market they’ve created.

  • While making the fan part of the market experience is exciting, another relevant piece to the puzzle comes into play when looking at how sports gambling can come to a halt altogether.

In a phone interview with co-founder Ace Underhill, I got to ask him about what AllSportsMarket plans to do in regards to facing the problem of gambling, particularly within or surrounding sports, and he assured that the end game is to end gambling completely.

It’s a big task, but they are up to the challenge.

The market works much like the stock market with major companies — the major difference being that instead of companies, teams are what’s available for investment.

Lastly, on top of involving the fan and market into one, AllSportsMarket also looked at how they can get the support of professional leagues.

There’s also talk at the top of the potential to put a sports stock market ticker on television programs like that of ESPN or Fox Sports like you would see on any business programming, but those ideas are still to come.
