It was a perfect night to celebrate International Women’s Day with the LPGA.

Some of the most inspirational women appeared at the LPGA’s 2016 ANA Inspiration Launch Dinner on Tuesday, March 8th, to enjoy a night full of courageous stories, special guests, and laughter.

The ANA Inspiration, the LPGA’s most iconic major championship, will be taking place from March 31 to April 3rd in Rancho Mirage, California, at Mission Hills Country Club.

The stars that attended this event were 2015 ANA Inspiration winner Brittany Lincicome, 18-time LPGA winner Christie Kerr, Los Angeles native and U.S. Solheim Cup Star Alison Lee, U.S. Soccer Women’s National Team legend, Julie Foudy, and 12-time Paralympic gold medalist swimmer Jessica Long.

After a cocktail reception, guests and media got to know a little bit more about the conversion of the LPGA and ANA Airlines.

The event that was announced during the dinner was the launch of the ANA Inspiring Women in Sports Conference and FootGolf exhibition that will be held on Tuesday, March 29th at the Mission Hills Country Club in Rancho Mirage, Calif.

The conference will celebrate the participation of women in sports and to help welcome golf into the Olympics for the first time since 1900.

Professional athletes such Missy Franklin, Abby Wambach, Lindsey Vonn Kristi Yamaguchi, Jessica Long, Annika Sorenstam, and Julie Foudy will have a rematch of the United States vs. Japan game.

Along with honoring women in sports, the 43-year-old history of the ANA Inspiration will help bring in the future stars of women’s golf.

Gabe Codding, the ANA Inspiration tournament director said, “The ANA Inspiring Women in Sports Conference is an incredible platform to showcase the stories of the world’s best female athletes and learn from their successes in the Olympics and in life. We are so grateful to our partner ANA for sharing the vision to help tell these inspirational stories amidst the backdrop of the LPGA’s most ionic venue. It will be an absolute thrill to welcome these sports legends to Mission Hills Country Club and watch them interact with the LPGA’s best.”

Speaking with Brittany Lincicome, Julie Foudy, and Jessica Long introduced me to a different meaning of being a women which is being determined in every aspect of my life.

They were all honored of being chosen to partake in such a wonderful event and sport.
