The Clippers’ bench will have to come up big and outplay Golden States bench throughout the entire game.

The Warriors’ bench is really good, and they play great in vital stretches of the game, even without 2015 NBA Finals MVP Andre Iguodala.

Nevertheless, the home team’s bench will always thrive off of the crowd’s energy.

Therefore, the Clippers bench will have to stay poised, execute offensively and contest every shot on the defensive end as well.

More importantly, the bench must play at the highest level possible.

Austin Rivers will have to be the catalyst on defense and offense. He is a really good on ball defender, and offensively he can get hot and play a really good five minute stretch of basketball on both ends of the court.

Paul Pierce was signed for veteran leadership and to close games.

I would love to see hos leadership and clutch ability in this game if it comes down to the last few minutes.

He needs to make timely shots and give this team the confidence that he gave the Wizards in Washington last season.
