…Cal Quarterback Jared Goff.

The Rams select Goff because he is the most ready to play quarterback from the college level to the professional level.

The Rams will still have quarterback Nick Foles who is also from the PAC 12 and should have Goff learn from him the first few games, develop him some more, then have him play in the last few games therefore he is successful in the league.

He most likely will be the starting quarterback when the season starts.

He will be successful because his dad was a professional baseball player therefore Jared knows what it takes to be successful, especially with a lot of attention on you.

They have a defense as well as the run ages with Todd Gurley.

He is a good pocket passer with great skill and football knowledge.

His long arm and ability to stay in the pocket will help with the teams young speedy receivers.

He was able to turn the program at Cal around with a coach, defense, and run game and with the LA Rams it is the same situation he can do it again.
