Notre Dame Offensive Tackle Ronnie Stanley.

The Ravens are surprised he is there at number six for them.

They take him because they can acquire skill players via free agency or with other picks in the draft.

He is one of the best lineman in the draft and Flacco needs protection after being out for most of the season.

They need a young tackle who can play either side and protect the quarterback.

He has great run and pass blocking ability.

The Ravens built their defense over the offseason and need to work on protecting their franchise quarterback who not better to start with than Stanley who was successful at Notre Dame.

A previous offensive lineman to come from the Irish and be successful in the league in his first few year Zack Martin.

Notre Dame produces great aheletes.
