Vernon Adams Jr. transferred from Eastern Washington to the University of Oregon in hopes of helping lead them to a PAC 12 Championship appearance.

Adams had some big shoes to fill from before him because Mariota helped his team win the conference championship the year before with Ducks and went number 2 overall in the 2015 NFL Draft.

He had successful years at Eastern Washington.

Not only did he come to Oregon to help the university but to help himself as well.

He decided to go to Oregon to be able to be noticed by scouts and be draft ready.

Oregon was doing good until they lost a primetime game to Michigan St. and They missed the PAC 12 Championship.

Vernon along with the team did exceed expectations from fans and critics, because not everyone thought they would do good.

They questioned Adams abilities as well because he transferred to a tough a conference with good quarterback play even with teams that weren’t above .500 .

There are concerns with Adams because he did not play in every game due to injuries.

It may be hard for him to get drafted as a quarterback, but to make the NFL it might be better for him to convert to reciver to have a successful career in the league.

He reminds of a Julian Edelman of the New England Patriots.

If he does get drafted or signed to a team as a quarterback I could see him on a practice squad.

His play is similar to that of Russell Wilson because he is mobile and can pass in the pocket but his height might be an issue.

It would in his best interest for him to convert to a receiver to be able to sign or get drafted on a team because of his agility and quickness.
