2017 is year of the Pac 12 quarterbacks in the NFL
Quarterback Mike Bercovicci had only started three games in 2014 while quarterback Taylor Kelley was injured.
2015 was his season and he started every game.
He does not have the height for a prototypical quarterback, but his effort and perseverance is there.
Only starting for one year, it is going to be hard to get drafted.
The PAC 12 was not an easy conference at all and if Wentz can get drafted second with a similar situation Mike should be able to.
In his games they won this year he was part of the reason in some of them.
He made some great plays in his starts including one hail mary roll out to the right and caught for the touchdown in the end zone against USC.
If it doesn’t work out I can see him getting signed to a practice squad, or him possibly deciding if he should pursue the NFL as a quarterback or pursue a different position to contribute to a team to win championships.
He isn’t the shortest player but he also isn’t the tallest.
Having the deep ball ability will help him with speedy receivers in the league.
To succeed in the league he needs to work on his short passes and accuracy in the check down game.
He reminds of a Doug Flutie because of his height and long ball ability and to escape under pressure.
Next: Jared Goff Expected To Start Immediately
Come Sunday for sure we will know where all these quarterbacks wound up.
