2016 NFL Draft: Grading the selections of Los Angeles
By Dylan Thomas
Mike Thomas
With the Rams last pick in 2016 they went offense again, this time selecting wide receiver Mike Thomas, who just played two seasons at Southern Mississippi.
He had a break our year in 2015 posting 71 receptions, 1,391 yards and 14 touchdowns.
His 36 vertical leap shows on the field as he’s able to win jump ball situations. He’s a hard worker that has a high motor and gives his all on every down.
He is an average athlete that only has two seasons of FBS football, playing in a lower level of division where he wasn’t asked to run various of routes doesn’t help either.
Also he caught nine passes in the last two years and sometimes does drop balls that should be caught. Thomas should be able to see the field due to lack of weapons on the Rams offense.
If he shows the will he did in Southern Miss to improve his game than he can see the field a lot in 2016.
