Grabbing LeBron James is definitely a stretch, but it’s not something to put out of the equation just yet.

As Lakers Nation reported, again echoing Stephen A. Smith, an offer from the Los Angeles Lakers would be something that James would “entertain” — whatever that means.

Smith said that the biggest thing that would lead James to the Lakers would be winning this year’s championship with the Cleveland Cavaliers, who currently face second round tests of Atlanta and presumably Miami or Toronto if they move on to the Eastern Conference Finals.

James has branded himself not just as a star or emerging, developing player, but rather as one of the best athlete’s to ever take to the hardwood.

Despite his storied career, he has yet to bring an NBA Championship to Cleveland — something that, once achieved, could be his golden ticket out of town.
