Now that the San Antonio Spurs are out of the way, Russell Westbrook is ready to go above and beyond like we’ve never seen him before.

Nearing a personal playoff best, Westbrook is averaged 25 points, six rebounds, and ten assists per game so far.

Against Golden State, he’ll have his work cut out for him, but the Thunder wouldn’t be here if it weren’t for him, especially based on his efforts in the second round.

Before that series began, many thought that the Spurs would be able to dismiss the Thunder easily, but after the blowout loss in Game 1, Oklahoma City got it together and won four of their next five.

If the Thunder can get past Golden State somehow, there’s no way either Eastern Conference team will be able to put a stop them — and Russell Westbrook is just fine with leading that charge.
