Freeway Series Game 3 goes to Angels
Nick Tropeano and Angels demolish the Los Angeles Dodgers in game three of the freeway series.
After a devastating game 2 loss the Angels bounce back in game 3 at home to take a 2-1 series lead.
This series has taken a twist in the last two games as in it has been one-sided, first the Dodgers dominated at home after a loss in the series opener, and tonight the Angels dominated at home in game 3 after their blowout loss to the Dodgers.
All this came after we had an exciting game 1, where it came down to the wire and the Angels defeated the Dodgers by one run 7-6.
After a a one-sided affair in game 3, we can count on it that the Dodgers will show up in game 4.
The Angels will be counting on it, which will be the final game of the series and an exciting game to watch.
The Dodgers starting pitcher only was in for four innings, while the Angels starting pitcher Tropeano was in for 7 innings.
The Angels used 2 more pitchers for a total of 3 to the visitors total of 5 pitchers.
Tropeano was more successful than his opponents starter, in that his era was 3.30 with 1 error to his opponents 6.43 era with 3 errors and he allowed no home runs to their one home run.
They each walked 2 batters and the wining pitcher struck out twice as many batters 4 to 2.
The Angels as a team had one less at-bat and were still able to come up with a victory because they were able to get more hits off of their at-bats.
They had 12 hits to the Dodgers 8 hits which help increased then runners that were able to reach on base.
Yet the Halos left more runners on base than than their opponents, 19 runners to 16.
All the RBIs from both teams were the all the runs that were scored.
For example the Dodgers had 1 RBI which is 1 run and for the Angels they had 8 RBIs which mean 8 runs.
The RBIs were they only runs as in there were no home runs with the exceptions of the first run scored by Mike Trout.
C.J. Cron and Rafael Ortega each had 2 RBIS counting for half of the Angels total points scored.
This freeway series comes in the midst of Mike Trout Trade Rumors, which were quickly shot down by the organization as false.
It is a good series for the Angels to build off of, to continue their momentum into the rest of the games before the all-star break, and to improve on where they need to get to.
They aren’t that far behind from being at .500; only four games back.
Then when they hit that mark they need to keep wining their games to stay above .500 heading into the all-star break.
Then after the break they can build off of that momentum and who knows what can and will happen!

Then imagine with what they are capable of, how they will perform after the all-star break, and with the whole team continuing to peak.
They are dangerous and there play speaks for itself, they are a team that is better than their record.
