Closing Thoughts

With these questions answered, only time will tell which approach the front-office will take.

With the Lakers always being in a win-now mentality, a successful off-season is a must which means they need to pull the trigger now.

Step 1: They already hired the right coach in Luke Walton.
Step 2: Package the pick with players from the young core in a trade for DeMarcus Cousins.
Step 3: Sign Rajon Rondo and Chandler Parsons.
Step 4: Sign DeMar Derozan at a reasonable contract.

My projected roster – Rondo, DeRozan, Parsons, Randle, Cousins

Quite out of this world, right?

Before we can all get excited with what the Lakers have in store for their fan base, all we can do is sit on the edge of our seats and wait to see whom the Lakers will select with the number two pick in the 2016 NBA Draft.
