2016 NBA Draft: Editor’s Mock Draft
Power Forward/Center out of North Carolina University, Brice Johnson.
Yes they do have two point guards, but one comes off then bench and the other one is more of a shooting guard than a point guard.
To many this may come as a surprise that I have him in the top ten, but I don’t see any reason why he shouldn’t be there.
He helped lead his team to the NCAA March Madness Championship game.
He will have a great career in the league and lets not forget many players from UNC have gone on to do great in the NBA and win Championships.
Bryce Dejean-Jones was going to be developed this summer greatly unfortunately he passed away and they will have to turn to their draft pick.
Johnson is the right fit because he as that energy Jones has all though not the same position but has the same skills as Jones.
Brice would help lift this team into playoff contention and they would be going deep because of his ability to be “Nasty,” a force to be reckoned with in the middle.
He is great on crashing the boards, as sometimes he will come flying out of nowhere or just out-muscle his opponent. He can dribble the ball, has a nice jumper and with time his three game would be nice.
Johnson averaged a double-double in his last season 17 points and 10 rebounds, put him on a team with Anthony Davis and players who missed last season due to injuries, this team if healthy is bound to make the playoffs for the second time in 3 years and make a run in the Western Conference.
It is all meant to be.
They have raw talent and are all just big.
