4 reasons why the LA Lakers are moving in the right direction

The Los Angeles Lakers hired Luke Walton as the teams new head coach for the 2016/2017 NBA regular season. Previously with the Golden State Warriors as an assistant coach, Walton lead them to a 39-4 record, while head coach Steve Kerr was recovering from back surgery.

Walton should be able to help develop the young core of players on the Lakers roster since he now knows how to, from coaching the Warriors. Luke will help bring a different mindset to the organization, one of having fun, playing smart basketball, and winning.

To be the head coach for the Los Angeles Lakers was his dream job and now that he has it, he hopes to shine in his new role. He has plans to bring LA back to stardom as he has won Championships as a NBA player and a coach. Walton knows what it takes to accomplish the goal as a player and coach.

Once the 2016 NBA Finals were completed Luke came to LA and started getting to work immediately.
