The 4th and Final Reason the Lakers are heading in the right direction during this years off-season, is because they made headlines in the 2016 NBA Free Agency period, by signing Ex-Cavalier center and NBA Finals Champion Timofey Mozgov to a 4 year deal.

The Lakers need defense minded players, with him they got that in a rim protector, who when giving the opportunity to shine proved, he can accomplish double-doubles or do what is asked of him and just crash the boards.

Most recently the player the Lakers signed in free agency is former Miami Heat forward Luol Deng for 4 years and $72 million. Many critics are stating thee two moves are absolute ridiculous moves.

For the Los Angeles Lakers organization they are not ridiculous moves, because these are the players they realistically could sign, while keeping their core of young players together.

Also, these two players are veterans who have experience in playoffs and Finals. They will be able to lead the young Lakers by actions, teaching, and explain to them the different ways to accomplish their goals in the league.

Just their presence alone will allow and establish structure for this young core of players, who staying together, and adding more pieces will do great things within the next year.
