The 2016/2017 LA Rams team is eerily similar to the 2015/2016 Super Bowl 50 Champions Denver Broncos team.

The LA Rams had a good season with their last year in St. Louis. They went 7-9, had a decent year but they struggled with games on the road.

Their were multiple games in the 2015/2016 NFL season that the Rams competed well and showed great signs for the future of the organizaton.

Some of these games they lost in but came to close to winning were against the Washington Redskins, Pittsburgh Steelers, Green Bay Packers, Minnesota Vikings, Baltimore Ravens, and the San Francisco 49ers.

Had the LA Rams won these games they would have been 12-4 not 7-9 jumping into second place in the NFC West. That would also mean they would be bumping the Seattle Seahawks into 3rd place in the division and out of the playoffs because they lost to the Green Bay Packers who had the same record.

They were in those games because of the play of their defense and this year the whole team is expected to do better than last year, according to Coty.

Great goals and accomplishments are expected from the LA Rams in 2017.

Their schedule is difficult to say the least which means they will be competitive and when they win it will be worth it.

The LA Rams should win their division and be able to go .500 out of their division games all depending who they start at the quarterback position.

They were 3 games away from the playoffs last year at the least and this year they can only improve from it. This is scary especially with all the acquisitions they made to their roster on defense.

The LA Rams defense is eerily similar to the Denver Broncos Super Bowl 50 Champions as in they are scary and will able to carry the team.

LA already has Aaron Donald, they added Dominique Easley to the team along with Coty Sensabaugh. The other two they have at the secondary are Trumaine Johnson along with Mark Barron. Lastly they have their leader on defense with Alec Ogletree and others.

These are just the stars of the defense, they still have the players on the field who will make names for themselves during he season, as well as players on the practice squad, and those they just drafted.

Their offense will be able to do their job and succeed because the defense will hold up their end.

This defense is scary and with multiple standout All-Stars on their team they are eerily similar to the Super Bowl Champions Denver Broncos.

LA Rams running back Todd Gurley is expected to have a breakout second season, after his impressive rookie season where he was rookie of the year and made the pro bowl.

Their is uncertainty at the QB position, but they did draft rookie QB Jared Goff who will be able to succeed with the system he is in, whether he starts immediately or later.

Many critics have opposing thoughts on Goff. Whether he doesn’t do good his first year or if he does he is on the right team because his defense is stacked.

The Broncos offense had a second year starting quarterback playing who was able to succeed and win games because he followed the gameplan and the defense helped him out along with the usual starting quarterback.

Goff may struggle in some of his games his rookie year, also he may not, we will only find out when Jeff Fisher gives him the opportunity to start.

Todd will carry the team on offense and will need help from his quarterback as well to succeed.

The Super Bowl 50 Denver Broncos had an excellent defense, great running game, good line protection, talented skill guys, and a decent quarterback and with the LA Rams situation it is eerily similar and if the make the Super Bowl, yet alone the playoffs how amazing would that be.

The only difference is instead of veteran quarterback they have a rookie quarterback.

If they do make the playoffs it will be awesome for the city of LA and if not the LA Rams will make the Super Bowl in the next few years when their stadium is hosting the Super Bowl.
