Boston Celtics
Going to Boston doesn’t make as much sense as Celtics fans probably wish it did, and that only holds water because of the off-season free agency addition of Al Horford.
Boston is going to have an interesting season next year, particularly if they look to compete in the Eastern Conference as they say they do.
Adding Horford was definitely a plus for the Celtics, so there’s no mistake that it was a good move for the team in that respect.
That in mind though, adding Griffin, even with the talent he brings at the same position, could cause a clash of personalities and make things hectic in Beantown.
It’s best for the Celtics to wait until they know for sure what their game plan will look like with Horford in the lineup, because if they try and make a move right now, it will be far too early to know if it was something that they should’ve waited on.
