The reality of all of this is that it is speculation on a decision that we won’t hear about until the end of next season.

Griffin could go anywhere he wants as a free agent, with the chance for the Clippers to fight for him as bad as they say they want him.

What it really hinges on is the direct success or failure of the upcoming season, as Los Angeles has already failed twice with golden opportunities to shine in the post-season.

Another year of disappointment probably won’t make Griffin want to stick around, and you can’t really blame him if it gets to that point.
