Scott Brooks, like Kevin Durant, didn’t last in Oklahoma City but has found a new home in another part of the NBA.
He enters the upcoming season with another power duo-related scenario in Washington between John Wall and Bradley Beal.
Beal went as far as to say that they will need to disregard a “tendency to dislike each other on the court” in order to get things done.

Washington only went 41-41 last season, failing to make a playoff appearance after a rather lively one the year prior.
Like Miami, they’ll struggle in a division that’ll be up for grabs heading into the final week of the regular season.
The Beal-Wall combination has yet to bring enough to D.C. to warrant a deep playoff run this year, as they wouldn’t be enough to fight off the foes at the top of the Eastern Conference.
Brooks will lead them in the right direction, but not the playoff direction this season.
Season Prediction: (40-42), 4th in Southeast
