While the Warriors will face problems with repeating success, the Spurs are going to be in good hands even though they won’t have Tim Duncan on the floor due to retirement.

Kawhi Leonard has emerged as the next face of the franchise, showing that he can play both ends of the floor extremely well.

Leonard averaged over 21 points per game to lead his team, while also recording the most steals of any Spurs player with two per contest.

Tony Parker will continue to be the team’s starting point guard, while Danny Green and LaMarcus Aldridge do their usual damage.

In their offseason, another former Bulls player in Pau Gasol jonied their ranks and will be their starting center.

Manu Ginbolbi must find ways to stay productive and efficient behind Danny Green, and the team knows it.

Mix that with the attitude and perspective of head coach Gregg Popovich, and you’ve got yourself a heck of a team.

San Antonio played second fiddle to Golden State last year despite 67 wins, and they’ll find themselves in the same play this year.

Season Prediction: (55-27), 1st in Southwest
