After falling short of the 30-win mark a year ago, this year’s Timberwolves team will at least get over that hump.

Karl-Anthony Towns is proving to be one of the best young talents in a long while, and the fun doesn’t stop with him

Zach LaVine can throw down dunks in the lane with authority to compliment Towns, and, alongside Andrew Wiggins, there’s plenty to like.

In the 2016 draft, Minnesota addressed the future of their point guard situation by drafting Kris Dunn out of Providence.

Ricky Rubio has been nothing more than decent, and soon-to-be second year player Tyus Jones still has a lot to prove.

Dunn will make this team dangerous because of the explosiveness he brings to the table.

Combined with the aforementioned young talent, Dunn will shine when the time is right for him to take over the starting role.

The rookie saw a good chunk of minutes in the preseason, averaging over 21 minutes per game. He also scored in all but one of his five appearances.

Minnesota is also entering a season of transition, as beloved star Kevin Garnett decided to retire before the season began.

Unfortunately for the young T-Wolves, their division won’t treat them nicely.

Season Prediction: (35-47), 4th in Northwest
