Phoenix Suns
Devin Booker did pretty good in his rookie season with the Phoenix Suns last year.
After averaging 13.8 points, 2.6 assists, and 2.5 rebounds per game, the former Kentucky Wildcats star is ready to shine.
According to a report from NBA.com, Booker is listed at the top of bold predictions for the upcoming season.
Booker will be accompanied by point guard Eric Bledsoe as the sparks for the Suns. They’ll need to improve their scoring this season, as they ranked 22nd a year ago.
Phoenix scored an average of 100 points per game, while allowing 107.5 in each contest.
Philadelphia and Sacramento were the only teams ranked worse on defense, and Phoenix virtually tied the 76ers.
The Suns only won 23 games last season, but this year’s projection will show what their young core is capable of.
This, of course, comes with the idea that there’s plenty left to prove in the long run.
