Though the prospect of facing the Pelicans might be enticing on the surface, the threat of Anthony Davis always looms. The MVP candidate is averaging 31.4 ppg, 11.4 rpg and 2.8 blocks per game.

This is the first key matchup of the game.

Prospective All-Star DeAndre Jordan draws the unenviable assignment of stopping Davis. Jordan, a contender for DPOY recently, has slipped a little bit this year. So look for Davis to exceed last week’s numbers of 21 points and 6 rebounds.

Luc Mbah-a-Moute , former UCLA Bruin, will slide over and help, as he is the Clippers best defensive player.
