If you weren’t amazed by what Lamar Jackson did on the field this season, you’re what’s wrong with sports.

It was almost more awe-inspiring to watch him play if you weren’t a die-hard Louisville fan — he was just unreal.

As a Sophomore with the Cardinals, Jackson dazzled us with raw talent and athleticism.

Throwing for 3,390 yards and 30 touchdowns is how you go from not-so-famous to the new face of the nation representing a silver lining in college football.

Jackson did throw nine interceptions, but compared to the positives that he produced, it’s almost irrelevant.

The reason that he’s a once-in-a-generation type of talent is because he knows how to carry his team, even in losses. He learns from his mistakes during a bad game, fixes the problem during the week, and does everything in his power to get better.

Think back to when Louisville played a thriller against Clemson. This was Jackson’s chance to cement the claim that he could upstage DeShaun Watson of the Tigers.

Clemson ended up victorious, but Jackson did not stop being a monster and a force to reckon with.

For comparison, Goff only seems to find new ways to lose, and it doesn’t look like improvement is on the way anytime soon.
