Opportunity for chemistry with Todd Gurley

If anybody is important to please in Los Angeles, it’s running back Todd Gurley. His sophomore season in the NFL is going anything but planned.

With Lamar Jackson in at quarterback, the opportunity for an explosive 1-2 punch is mind-blowing.

Combine Jackson’s athleticism with Gurley’s power and it could be the beginning of what the Rams really want to see. With Goff, the team is going to see a player continuously try and find his way.

If they want to win sooner rather than later, giving Goff more time to grow would be their best bet.

This would mean finding a way to keep Goff in Los Angeles, but as the backup if they do in fact land Jackson.

In turn, Los Angeles could find a new home for Case Keenum, who was benched for Goff earlier this season due to poor play.

Should the Rams unlock the true potential of Gurley, it’ll make them a much more desirable place for free agents in the future.

But first they have to make sure their offensive weapons are on the same page.
