Rams Color Rush: Los Angeles switches up jerseys against Seattle
By Keith Rivas
The Rams Color Rush jerseys for tonight’s game against the Seahawks won’t be all yellow.
Instead of horrifying us with another bright jersey combination, the Rams Color Rush choice for this week is easier on the eyes.
Going against Seattle, Los Angeles will be playing with their all-white jerseys. Additionally, they’ll feature a white Rams horn on a blue helmet.
It’ll be their third different helmet this season.
This will be the first game in the post-Jeff Fisher era. Quarterback Jared Goff is still trying to get a grip on how to play consistently good football, and the Rams are trying to climb to 7-9.
How ironic, right?
In order to get to that mark, Los Angeles will have to win out their remaining games.
Going 4-9 under Fisher, the Rams failed to make the playoffs in their first season back in California in quite some time.
Opposite them, the Seahawks will be gracing their neon green uniforms.
Thinking back to last season, it’s hard to picture another dual-bright game like when the Rams played Tampa Bay. That game featured the all-yellow paired with the Bucs’ all-red attire.
Wasn’t pretty.
Seattle comes into this game not with a losing record, but instead having its eyes on the playoffs.
Russell Wilson is playing at an elite level and the rest of the team is really clicking.
For the Rams to win, they’ll have to do much more than their earlier meeting. Los Angeles found a way to edge the Seahawks in Los Angeles, but playing on Seattle’s ground is a whole lot different.
One of the core differences is the noise factor that is unlike any other in the world.
Jared Goff will have his hands full trying to play among that kind of ruckus.
But if he succeeds, he’ll shut up his critics for now.
