It goes without saying that Kareem Abdul-Jabbar is one of the best players in NBA history.

While Kobe Bryant may have had a flashier game, Abdul-Jabbar proved he belonged by playing in an arguably tougher era of basketball.

His focus was more on two-point shot success, to which he out-performed Kobe Bryant.

He made 9,934 two-point shots in his career, but also didn’t let his offensive abilities limit his game.

Abdul-Jabbar also leads the team all-time offensive and defensive rebounds. This is complimented by him also leading in all-time blocks.

He out-lasts Bryant in several statistical areas, but again played in a different era of basketball and that has to be taken into consideration.

Abdul-Jabbar was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1995.
