Known for being the player represented on the current league logo, Jerry West comes into this list at the sixth spot.

The second-best free throw shooter in team history was drafted in 1960.

He is tied with Shaquille O’Neal for the second-best points per game mark of any player in Lakers history (27 PPG).

West would go on to play in 14 All-Star games while being named NBA Finals MVP in 1969. He was also the All-Star game MVP in 1972.

The Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame inducted him in 1980.
