LA Kings: Here’s who deserves an All-Star nod

Anze Kopitar

On the other side of things, Anze Kopitar is having one memorably bad year.

At only 3 goals and 16 points halfway through the season, the recently-named captain of the Kings has struggled to regain the scoring touch that earned him his first Selke trophy last season.

It may just be that the center is still trying to adjust to his new role as captain. 

Nevertheless, this year should see last year’s All-Star sit back and let his more deserving teammate Jeff Carter take his place.
