The latest LA sports rankings have to do with a list of the best athletes in Los Angels.

Los Angeles is a great city to be a superstar. This is the City of Champions -with a great performance, athletes are elevated to the level of celebrity of their Hollywood counterparts and revered from Long Beach to Porter Ranch, from Malibu to Whittier.

Kobe Bryant and Magic Johnson will be forever adored.

And Sandy Koufax and Vin Scully are still revered. For Orel Hershiser, Troy Glaus, Jean-Sébastien Giguère and Kirk Gibson, one outstanding postseason performance forever etched their names in Los Angeles lore.

So which current active Los Angeles athletes are the next to join the proverbial Mount Rushmore for their respective teams?

I try to take a crack at providing a Top 10.
