Already being hailed as one of the best players in MLB history, Trout is only 25 years old.

Comparisons to Mickey Mantle abound. In five full seasons with the Angels, he has captured two MVP awards and finished second three times.

The only problem here – and it’s no fault of his own – is that the organization has squandered its goodwill in the city, engendering a moribund fan base.

Who wants to watch the Angels anymore?

Well, Mike Trout is the lone reason – and he is going to be amazing for another decade.

Next stop, Cooperstown.
