It also resurrected the team and put them into the Rose Bowl, where Darnold thrived.

The freshman also won the Archie Griffin award as College Football’s MVP.
At 19 years old, not a bad start to a career. The Trojans will start next season as the Pac-12 favorite and Darnold immediately vaulted to the top of the Heisman race.
With another performance like this, he’s going to rank among L.A.’s football legends for the remainder of time with the Trojans.
