Speaking of freshman, here is a kid that might be the number one pick in the NBA draft. The unquestioned leader of the 15-1, fourth-ranked UCLA Bruins hoops squad, he’s averaging 14 points, 8 assists and 5.6 rebounds per game.
More impressive, his three-point range is Steph Curry-eque.
UCLA basketball used to be the premier program in all of Los Angeles.
If this freshman can lead the Bruins to a title, he will join Lew Alcindor (Kareem Abdul-Jabbar), Bill Walton, Reggie Miller and Russell Westbrook as the best players to come out of the program – in just one season.
