BAD FOR THE LEAGUE

Having already alienated one former fan base in St. Louis, the league is now concurrently squandering goodwill in two major metropolises.

With television ratings already in decline, the timing is not ideal.

There is nothing conclusive to show that L.A. can support one team, much less two – and now a franchise without an existing fan base will be sharing a stadium that is yet to exist.

And oh yeah, the Chargers will be playing at StubHub Center for the next two seasons.

While admittedly a gorgeous venue, the capacity is going to be 30,000 seats – not exactly great for league revenue or attendance figures.
