Is Desean Jackson to the Los Angeles Rams even likely after the latest Rams rumors?

Desean Jackson hits free agency this coming off-season and is an all-star receiver.

He improved the Redskins offense this season with his explosive plays down the field.

One notable game was on Thanksgiving in their victory over the Dallas Cowboys.

When the Redskins made the playoffs the previous year, he helped them in their wildcard loss, but he wasn’t 100% healthy. This year they missed the playoffs and he was healthy at the end of the season.

His former offensive coordinator Sean McVay left the Redskins to accept the head coaching job with the Los Angeles Rams.

Would Desean Jackson be interested in reunited with his coach in LA?

Kenny Britt could leave the Rams in free agency with his stellar season and there are rumors he could be traded.

Why not trade Britt for Desean Jackson?

It is an upgrade for Los Angeles. Also, he can catch the ball and has speed which is what they need.

Britt was awesome this season, however depending on how he feels he may look for other teams in free agency.

If he doesn’t leave could the Rams actually sign both Kenny Britt and Desean Jackson?

They each had similar seasons according to their stats.

For Kenny Britt, he played 15 games, caught 68 passes for 1,002 yards and 5 touchdowns.

On the other hand, Desean Jackson played 15 games, caught 56 passes for 1,005 yards and 4 touchdowns.

In order for this to happen they would have to release one of their star players, maybe someone on defense. This is not final but just a thought, what about Trumaine Johnson?

The Rams have been debating on whether to sign, release, or trade him.

If they were to go after Jackson they would have to release him hence it be better to trade Jackson for Johnson.

Also, the Redskins would accept this offer I think because they need all the help on defense in the secondary they can get.
