The wait is over for the Patriots vs Falcons, as Super Bowl Sunday has arrived.

It’s crazy to think that we’ve gotten to this point of the season already.

After a highly contested regular season, the playoffs weren’t all that thrilling throughout with the exception of a few games.

Now, we’ll get the league’s best offense against the best (scoring) defense.

For New England, the road to the big game was not an unfamiliar one. First round bye, divisional game against a team like the Texans, and then an AFC Championship against Ben Roethlisberger.

Tom Brady continues to direct his team on the field, while Bill Belichick calls the shots from the sideline.

They’ve both been here a number of times, as this will be their seventh Super Bowl appearance.

Opposite them is the Atlanta Falcons.

It’s only the second time that that we’ve seen Atlanta reach the Super Bowl — the first time since 1999.

Matt Ryan will be coming into the game fresh off of receiving league MVP honors on Saturday. Offensive weapons such as Julio Jones and Devonta Freeman will be crucial to the Falcons gettinga  jump start on New England.

But more importantly, holding them off.

Some staff writers have joined me in predicting Super Bowl LI, so let’s get down to it.
