Danny Amendola

Danny Amendola is the former Ram who helped on offense with a few crucial plays. Out of all the core receivers he had the most receptions.

Danny Amendola and Julian Eddleman were some other Patriots who helped win Super Bowl LI.

Ironically, Amendola is from Houston — therefore that has to make this victory sweet.

He even quoted he wanted to go off in Super Bowl LI.

For a minute, the game looked as if it were over.

Former Ram Danny Amendola had 8 receptions for 78 yards and a touchdown. His touchdown was the first one to lead New England to overtime to win the game.

Not only that, but he had a key 2-point conversion that tied the game up at 28.

There was a penalty flag which was on Atlanta for Dwight Freeney jumping off-sides. Either way the play worked and New England converted the 2-point try which was a screen to Amendola.

He came through in the clutch in for the Patriots. Also, his touchdown catch he had was close too almost being no good. Brady threw a dart to him which was a diving catch.

He had to hold on to the ball all the way to the ground. He barely got his hands underneath the ball and tucked into his shoulder to confirm it as a touchdown catch.
