Jim Buss co-owner of Lakers schedules a meeting with adviser of ownership Magic Johnson.

Jim Buss has been in many of the talks revolving around if he will be staying or leaving the Lakers with Johnson coming in to advise the organization.

He and the rest of the Lakers front office staff are waiting to see what will happen next.

According to an article by ESPN, this meeting between Jim Buss and Magic Johnson is to find out what is next for the Lakers.

Buss and Mitch Kupchak want to sit down with Johnson and explain their past decisions. There has been beef between Buss and Johnson in the past, but they are leaving it behind.

This meeting will take place during the All-Star break and they will discuss the future of the team as well.

Magic Johnson was recently hired as an adviser for the team. He wants to bring the Lakers back to their glory days.

This is a young team with plenty of talent that that just need time to develop. They also need someone they can take advice from who made it to where they want to get to, the playoffs.

I am positive in the meeting they will discuss if they are going to sign a star off the waiver wire, trade for a star, keep the young players and develop them into stars.

There will be more rumors swirling around of what they are going to discuss along with the future of the organization.

Hiring Luke Walton as head coach was a good start to moving forward. He able to relate to the players, yet he is also straight forward with them. The only thing missing from this season so far is more wins.

In the midst of all this craziness they can still make the playoffs.

It is a long shot but don’t count them out just yet.
