The latest Lakers rumors address the potential duo of Russell Westbrook and Anthony Davis in Los Angeles.

If you went on social media at all on Monday, you likely heard of a piece from Bleacher Report making plenty of noise. According to their report, an agency source shared that the idea of Russell Westbrook and Anthony Davis joining the Lakers could actually happen.

This has received plenty of skepticism, and for obvious reasons.

Russell Westbrook is currently tearing the rest of the league up one triple-double at a time. Without Kevin Durant, the Thunder have become fully dependent on his star power. Without him, the team easily goes downhill quickly.

With Anthony Davis, it’s a matter of testing his patience. New Orleans has done  a lot for the big man, but loyalty doesn’t always pay off the way players wish it would. Los Angeles could be that next necessary step for both players.

Here’s how the Lakers have to approach each player in order to succeed.
