A focus on chemistry

We’ve talked about things outside of Gurley’s control that can help him, but now it’s time to focus on the one thing he can absolutely control — the chemistry. Whatever weapons come into play on the offensive end of the ball, it’s crucial to the Rams’ success that Gurley get along with them.

Obviously, they don’t have to be best friends or anything like that, but they need to know each others’ game so that it can be tailored to the needs from game to game.

Gurley doesn’t mesh well with inconsistency, and it threw him off last year under Fisher when all of that happened. Some receivers thrived with the quarterback shuffle, others did not. Now that it looks like Goff is going to be the man, Gurley can get back to knowing who he is and the role he has with Los Angeles.
