Nerlens Noel

Above all else, the Lakers could find their best solution at center via trade with Philadelphia. Nerlens Noel is the kind of player that can change a team, but has been surpassed on the depth chart by Joel Embiid while fighting with Jahlil Okafor for minutes.

Okafor is also rumored to be on the table leading up to the deadline, but Noel would still be the Lakers’ best bet.

In terms of fitting in with their young core, Los Angeles could use Noel to really grow in other areas. Julius Randle can continue to feel comfortable at this position without having to do more than necessary, but so will the rest of the guys.

Both Brandon Ingram and D’Angelo Russell are coming along nicely and will be two truly unique players to have if the right roster is built around them.

Give Noel a chance in Los Angeles and it’s hard to see the Lakers really regretting it.
