Like Lowry, Portland’s C.J. McCollum didn’t have the best night. Although unable to advance to final, he netted 10 points and beat out Lowry to keep the Toronto point guard in last place.

The Trail Blazers find themselves in a much different scenario than the Raptors, as they are trying to make sure they actually get into the playoffs. They’re in the mix with teams like Denver, among others, but sharpshooting will help them a lot down the stretch.

In order for McCollum to remain an x-factor for the Trail Blazers, he has to be sure not to let his performance affect his confidence in the second half of the season.

As he and Damian Lillard try to run for the eighth spot, the plan is that he’ll hopefully catch fire heading into the final stretch.
