Jered Weaver leaves the Los Angeles Angels for the San Diego Padres.

Jered Weaver wishes they as in the team could have brought a trophy to Anaheim. Everyone has their reasons for staying or leaving.

I think he should ave stayed, but understand why he left. It wasn’t necessarily for the money as he only signed for one year. Most likely he signed to San Diego because he thinks he can help them win a trophy.

I think had he stayed with the Angels he would have helped them win a trophy despite the results from last season.

The problem with the Angels is everyone wasn’t healthy and everyone is now recovering. However Jered Weaver left the Angels for the Padres for one year and $3 million dollars. He still is in California just drive down the freeway and you can still watch him play.

Maybe his career in San Diego will be resurrected as he was recovering from back problems in the 2016 season. Jered Weaver will make a good closer for the Padres.

Just by adding Jared Weaver their bullpen automatically gets stronger. He had a decent record of 12-12. Weavers’ era was 5.06. Also, he had a SO of 103 and a WHIP of 1.46. Additionally, Weaver will be a great reliever pitcher or middle of the game pitcher.

The Angeles must look for another player to replace Jered Weaver on the lineup. He is best known for his saves at the end of the game. Weaver was great at coming in to save games for the Angels as a closer.

Depending on where he ends up in the lineup he could end up doing decently in San Diego. Also he should have waited with the Angels for his chance to have a possible trophy.
