Derrick Jones Jr

Derrick Jones Jr of the Phoenix Suns was runner up in the dunk contest. In the D-League he flys high and puts on show. Also, he is a rookie for the Suns developing in the league who earned an invite to the 2017 Dunk contest and gave the audience a well deserved show.

Until the final round where he just couldn’t make his dunks, he did not disappoint the event flying high in the first two rounds.

He earned 37 points in the first round of the final round. Therefore he had a chance to win the dunk contest since he earned a perfect score in the second round of the final.

All he could do was wait to see what Glenn Robinson III did and if he could score more than 87 for the victory.
