After Kyrie Irving’s initial claims, Nick Young decided to voice his opinion.

Cavaliers point guard Kyrie Irving recently made some interesting comments on a podcast with teammates. Over the course of the conversation, Irving makes a statement related to the shape of the earth.

By claiming that it’s flat and that photographs or images showing otherwise are misleading, Irving started a unique avenue for players.

It’s something that’s even caused a reaction from Adam Silver, who didn’t agree with Irving’s stance.

And now Nick Young is giving his take on the whole idea of a flat earth versus a round earth, according to a report from theScore.

Instead of taking the route of one side or the other, it seems like Young made a side just for himself. By stating that the earth doesn’t actually end, Young just made the whole topic that much more interesting.

Young has been at the core of possible trade rumors as well. The Lakers are likely to do some sort of deal before the deadline, and he’s listed as a veteran they’ll consider.

On the floor, though, he’s changed up plenty about his game to actually make the team better. After all of the drama between him and D’Angelo Russell last year, the two have put it behind them completely.

Irving’s comments were shocking enough, it’s really bizarre though to see this trend continue all the way to Los Angeles.

With the second half of the season now in mind, Young may end up having a different ending than his current team. Young could really be a difference maker on an Eastern Conference playoff team, but a deal would have to be available that helps the Lakers.
