Could Mario Williams land with LA Chargers?
Mario Williams has been cut by the Buffalo Bills.
Mario Williams has played for three teams during his time in the league. He is now looking for his fourth team to call home.
The NFL needs pass rushers as it is becoming back into a passing league. Good news for him there is a place where he can play and that will help him and the team. This team would be the Los Angeles Chargers.
They do have one solid pass rusher in Joey Bosa, who they drafted 3rd overall in 2016. Mario Williams can play on the opposite side of him, making the Chargers’ defensive ends a dual threat pass rushing combo.
This combo could do so much damage to other teams. Also, they wouldn’t see it coming as in Bosa is young heading into his prime and Williams is almost out of his prime.
Additionally, Williams can be a mentor to Bosa on improving his skills as a pass rusher and NFL player.
Just imagining this combination of defensive ends is fantastic. They already have linebackers and their secondary covered. Maybe they will have to look for one more person to fill their secondary.
The middle of their defensive line is a solid group.
The Chargers on offense are an explosive and exciting bunch to watch and compete with the best in the league as long as they can stay healthy entirely. Then their defense is an entirely different story. They have lost and gained people like dominoes falling.
Now is their time to find a veteran who can help the young defense and help spark their offense. Once the Chargers improve their defense they will be a playoff team. Signing Mario Williams to the team is the move that will help them make the playoffs. Additionally, the team has a new staff and they focus on defense.

The Chargers having this new staff who are predicated around defense will help the team make and contend in the playoffs.
