The latest Lakers rumors address how Los Angeles took full advantage of their opportunity at the trade deadline.

Compared to recent years, this trade deadline had a handful of Lakers rumors. Two days before the deadline, Mitch Kupchak and Jim Buss were both fired and Magic Johnson stepped in.

Since then, Los Angeles traded twice with the Houston Rockets.
