They’re beginning to attract big soon-to-be free agents

Indiana’s Paul George is at the top of their list when it comes to stars likely coming to Los Angeles. It is George’s hometown team, and he’s already made it pretty obvious that he’s not so happy with the Pacers.

In giving them a final shot, it seems, George says that he wants the Pacers to seriously contend for or win a title this year or next. Otherwise, he already knows where to look in free agency.

That’s more of a factual scene, while rumor has it that the Lakers could also garner interest from players like Russell Westbrook, Anthony Davis, and even DeMarcus Cousins in the near future.

Both Cousins and Davis are playing for the Pelicans, but the team’s direction still has a lot of factors yet to be determined.

As for Westbrook, it’s almost as if he’s in a similar situation to George, but he just won’t say it. For the moment, the Thunder are just barely in the playoff picture, and it could get to the point where Westbrook wants to come home too.

Magic Johnson will have to be sure to tug on those four names, if nothing else, when their current contracts expire.

It’s a must.
