Corey Seager is one of the Dodgers infielders. Also, he is one of their All-Stars and young rising stars. According to reports, by Bleacher Report general manger Dave Roberts stated, X-Rays came back negative.
All this means is his injury wasn’t serious. It means he will back shortly, hence the reason he will be back Friday for LA.
It would be best for him to rest until it fully heals. This he should do so he doesn’t reaggrevate his shin or make it worse. Seeger is a a few of the young players the Dodgers are hoping and counting on to lead them to a World Series Championship.
Los Angeles won their spring training game against the San Francisco Giants Wednesday. LA winning without Seager is the bad news. Losing him for a few days is the good news. Additionally, it is only Spring training, also in other major sports known as preseason.
In the Dodgers victory, it didn’t seem like they needed their young rising star infielder. LA was able to earn a victory without him.
They earned this victory without him by other players stepping up to the plate literally. They did hang on to win by one run, yet they won the game in the end still.
Corey Seager coming back to the Dodgers will help prevent more runs from being scored. He helps prevent runs by stopping ground balls from going into the outfield. Also, this means he helps minimize errors the Dodgers have as a team. Additionally, he can play anywhere on the field.
