The new Rams jerseys aren’t what fans might have thought.

When the team first moved back to Los Angeles, uniforms were all the noise. Of course, their color scheme of blue and gold — the old-school kind — was at the forefront of conversation.

Fans seemed like they’d make a push for that to become the team’s default jerseys again. However, it appears that the team has decided to move in a new direction.

According to a report from Yahoo, the colors will be blue and white.

Per the report:

"Then on Wednesday we got confirmation for the biggest change yet. The team announced they were going back to helmets they wore in the 60s and early 70s, a blue shell with white horns."

This was confirmed by a post on Twitter from the team’s official handle.

It’s an update that may not sit well with every Rams fan.

During a Thursday night game this past season against Seattle, the Rams wore the white and blue retro outfits for the first time in a long while. This, of course, came into play because of the idea of color rush.

Seattle’s color rush jerseys are a neon green that would’ve been impossible to watch clashed with the usual Rams’ all-gold look.

The changes come on the heels of potential changes by the Chargers as well. Rumor has it that more than just a uniform overhaul is in store for the former San Diego franchise.

Los Angeles is turning to social media for more feedback on the rest of the uniforms. In addition to the helmet changes, the Rams are also letting fans pick the style of pants they will wear.

It is definitely a unique way to approach moving forward, but the team seems fine with it.
